OK I did some art! Sort of. It’s more marker practice. I have realized that the soft lead color pencils aren’t what I’m looking for to enhance the markers. Verithins are the answer!! What I need are hard leaded color pencils! Which aren’t super common because what you are generally looking for art-wise are soft leaded color pencils. But Dick Blick has a set of 36 Verithins which is great! I have a lot of Verithins right now, but I’m still short a few colors. I also think I’m going to pull the trigger on a set of Ohuhu pastel markers.
I‘m really thinking of getting some clothes for my doll and then maybe in a month or two get that Mildred Hubble!
So this is the marker practice I did. I might not buy more Artfinity markers and instead go all in on Ohuhu. But that depends on how good they turn out to be. However there are a couple colors of Artfinity that I love. The celedon green is fantastic.
Anyway, I’ve been feeling the tiniest bit better later s I’ll try to do more art!
What I’m watching: Hometown Cha Cha Cha, Korean romance about a dentist who opens an office in a small town and finds herself relying n the local jack-of-all-trades. I’m also re-watching The Good Place. I’ll stop short of the last episode. It was beautiful and bittersweet but I can’t deal with it right now. The anime Magi is leaving Netflix at the month so I think I’ll binge it before it goes. Unless it’s terrible. Then I’ll go back to my K-dramaedies.
My sister got into k-dramas during the pandemic and I watched Hometown Cha-cha-cha with her. She’s in S. Korea right now with 2 friends who also love k-dramas. From the photos, they are mostly eating a lot of great food, and seeing various sites in Seoul.
