I’m still a bit traumatized because back in 2004 for my first bjd (when we had to wire money and I was still pretty sure I had lost my mind spending that much), I was sent the wrong doll. I ordered an Elf El from CP in BW—got a NS! Had to send him on to Terrie Smith, who had ordered NS, but was sent a regular El instead of an Elf El. Elf El was super limited, so they told me I might not get one!!!! But someone in Korea didn’t pick one up, so I finally got mine. Seriously, it was horrible. —but strangely didn’t keep me from ordering an elf Lishe a month or so later!!!!! (argh!)
Oh wow! That's quite a saga!! I'm glad you got the right doll in the end! That is really stressful though! Especially in the early days of doll ordering!
Too bad it didn’t put me off buying tons more dolls!!! But I never has any more issues after that. (Aside from getting 2left shoes from Luts! But they sent me two right shoes and all was well!)
No kidding!!! I MIGHT have been put off if that happened to me, but only for a year or two! I was really glad nothing happened when I bought my first doll. And now I'm 60+ in!!! Yeek!
