So I might be picking up Zwiehander which bills itself as a Grim and Perilous ttrpg (caps included). Roll20 had the player’s guide free a few months ago so I got it- because free right? But I hadn’t looked at it until just last Sunday and it’s fucking hilarious and I love it. It IS grimdark and there is a lot of um, nonconsensual smex, but I can can take that out and just run gore and body horror. Anyway corebook is like $50+ on R20 so I have to look at my monies…. And see what my paycheck is like at the end of March- which is the longest fucking month! But I am super committed to this game! I love it!
AND here is yet another Pokemon trainer. I’m annoyed to say this every single time, BUT I have been looking at vintage fashion on Pinterest, 50s, 60s, 70s fashion in particular and I want to draw some retro trainers. The color palette, if nothing else was pulled from photos of 70s clothing. The collar and the tie are also a little 70s inspired. I have a 50s style trainer I want to draw next but haven’t had time.
Game News: Kids on Brooms sadly may not be sustainable. I have a player leaving in April which leaves me with 2 players. And I can’t seem to break through to people about how FUN a game it is! It’s so good! It’s honestly like playing a really cool middle grade novel and I can’t seem to convince people to join the game. Vampire is going along great though! So that’s something.
Lastly I would like to leave you with one of the funniest TTRPG stories I have ever heard- it’s NOT a horror story but it IS an absolute epic.
