When is a read-through not a read-through?
When you can't leave a damn sentence alone
ONE day of working on the final Ink and Venom read through and I am editing sentences because I apparently can’t NOT edit. Anyway, hopefully I can finish this month. I have GOT to try to read through it not continuously edit. Anyway, I have pissed away the first few days of NaNo.
Art has been taking a back seat. I am STILL trying to nerve up to crack open the acryla gouache I bought 2 years ago. Time has not been kind to my art pursuits. I haven’t managed an acrylic painting in a long time. BUT I do have snap shots of some more sketched from my SoHo kraft paper sketchbooks.
I have made a couple more good discoveries Copics soak right through the paper. BUT Faber Castell PITT pens DO NOT! So, hot tip! If you are at all interested in the SoHo kraft sketchbook but have been hesitating- DON’T! They are cheap, light weight, portable and versatile! You can draw on both sides of the paper! I love them! I used the PITT pens on the rabbit’s sweater and little bow, but Copic inside the ear- just to test out the pens.
And oh no! No doll pics! Sorry! My time management is slipping badly. I do finally have the S-hooks I need to finish my little Soom Bygg/Resin Soul hybrid deetaur and if I can figure it out, I can fix my Rosette doll body. It has to be re-strung but in a very specific way…
The Advanced Short Story Class I’m in is almost over and it’s been fun! I may wind up with another in a couple years. But don’t bank on it! LOL! I am so very tired…
