So, not only am I waiting on that little Whispering Garden Lin I ordered from Clover Singing, BUT Kani Boom (or Kaniboom) is coming out with a patchwork rabbit doll at the end of this month and Jane’s Doll Land says they are going to stock said patchwork bunny! Who I must have! LOL! Sadly none of the dolls I’m trying to sell are actually selling… Not that it’s that important anymore. I have been doing OK money wise! For the first time since my Tokyopop days. I’m also trying VERY HARD NOT TO GET INTO TINY FOX VINYL DOLLS. The are cheapish anime dolls of vinyl but solid vinyl not that squishy soft shit with the skeleton like Obitsu or Dollfie Dreams.
Not that it’s all smooth sailing. I had to run Human Resources last week and of course it induced a day of hot and cold running anxiety during which I could barely function. Of course at the first hiccup I sort of want to quit- but I will NOT! Well, not unless I get an agent! LOL! I quit querying Ink and Venom. There doesn’t seem to be any point.
Anyway, here is my terrible watercolor that I don’t like
I have repeatedly fucked it up and there is no saving it… I will color in the eyes I guess and then shove it in a drawer never to be seen again. You can see the glitter of metallic water colors where I THOUGHT I could make cool clouds and it turns out I could NOT.
And here is a more succesessul little piece, it’s the Nacrene City gym leader for my Pokemon game! I really wanted to try to draw a little old man, something I rarely draw. So it was a challenge. I wanted to get a cane in but I couldn’t so I put his hands behind his back.
My players are going to DESTROY this gym though… sigh…. I guess they’ll enjoy it…
Sadly I have had no time to read Zwiehander. I read a little bit of the first chapter and it works on on a percentage system where the goal is to roll within your character’s chances of success, so low rolls are actuallt good. But that’s as far as I’ve gotten!
