So because we have absent players from Drakkenheim we have been starting and NOT finishing various games and spending HOURS on making characters that will never be used…. sigh… And the latest of these was Pathfinder 2e where the DM says to me “I know what you’d like, a Leshy, they’re plants.” And by gum he was right!! I played a walking talking pine bush named Pine Bough (who I sort of wanted to name The Pollinator, but it’s a bad plant sex joke).
So this is my pine hedge Pine Bough who drinks turpentine. I also have a pet microrapter! Floof Dino! I loosely based the drawing on an artist on Twitter I love- their work is on Pinterest too. The burning question though- HOW does Pine eat? And what?? Pine mostly photosynthesizes but can also maybe eat food by choice?
I didn’t like feathered dinos at first but they are growing on me! Especially the tiny micro raptors. I want a pet floof raptor so badly! Of course it would probably be a dick like my foster birbs. I can’t pet any of them! The last bird I could pet was Harry the Goffin. I miss Harry the most of all the birds I’ve fostered because he was the sweetest, funnest, funniest, naughtiest and most pettable.
Anyway, here’s another little color doodle on multimedia paper. As per usual several days after inking it I notice the eyes are different sizes. GAH! I just wish I were good! Anyway I did it while I was working on the acrylic paintings for the mini show at the art supply store.
Here are the tiny paintings I did. I sort of hate them. Mostly I hate that I’m not good at ANYTHING. Particularly everything I love.
They form a diptych. As if that weren’t OBVIOUS. I painted the sides so the art wraps around.
And finally: THIS is the best thing I’ve listened to in a while and I’m going to try to take back my focus and creativity.
