There is a meme that goes with that...

OMG! It’s Turkey Day!!! Happy feasting! To you all! Whether you are eating turkey or not! Apparently, if we were being REALLY authentic venison would be one of the main proteins. Also lobster! Once upon a time I guess lobster was considered a trash “fish” LOL! Like you ate it because you didn’t catch something else. Now of course it costs a ton of money. But also I don’t like boiling things alive…. it’s just depressing. I write these posts in advance so I don’t know exactly what I’ll be eating. But I can’t eat much in the way of variety. So it might be nothing special.

One place I DO NOT post my vampire art is on the official World of Darkness Discord. There are too many really talented people on there and I feel bad. I also worked way to hard on one only so-so Tzimisce. I want to play more vampire! Yes I have no life. Anyone else remember the World of Warcraft South Park episode? There was a player killing all the other players and ruining the game for everyone and the board of directors at Blizzard had to get involved. But they didn’t know how to get rid of that player. Long story short the running gag of the episode was the line “How do you kill that which has no life?” Of course the reference was also aimed at the player who was the typical ‘living in their parents basement and has no life’ stereotype. BUT that line lives in my head rent free. I think of it often.

I also very frequently wish I were good at art. Le sigh…. I often think that with digital tools- the newer, better ones, than what I have back in the day- would help with things like just getting symmetrical fucking character! I have a drawing in mt sketchbook I did NOT share (except on the gamer guild Discord) because the hands are two different sizes! And it doesn’t matter how long I take with a piece. The instant I’m done- and it’s unfixable because it’s a fucking ink drawing, I notice something WRONG. And not small wrong things. BIG ASS WRONG THINGS.

I’d love to write a VtM comic too. But it would be very unserious! LOL! Like all the vamps would wear sweatpants and complain about stupid things. BUT if you are in the market for a free Kindred comic here is one. The artists posts on the WoD Discord. The art is good, the writing it full of typos. Kindred of the Night first episode. Also, apparently now comics are just single illustrations and an episode totals as many “panels” as a page?!?!?! Whatever. Fine. I was never cut out for my one true love anyway. It’s fine. FINE.

With the holidays coming up everyone but me has something to do, so I expect my game schedule will go wonky for a bit. And I do realize at some point my Oregon Weird game has to end! But hopefully not END end. Maybe just season 1 will end!
