Photographic evidence that I finished my acrylic panel!

And finished!!

This is without the gloss! I’ll be putting that on soon. Then I just take it to the Art Department and turn it in! (Which, by the time you read this, will probably have happened.)

I also did this little sketch! I actually finished a sketch that was a throw away in my kraft sketchbook. I sketched a girl head then wasn’t going to do anything with it, but while on a game I needed to stand so I decided to work on it. I also wanted to see if I could use the ZIG clean color dot markers on the kraft paper. They MOSTLY work. The ink is waterbased so it doesn’t bleed through like alcohol markers. BUT there is some bleed and feathering. I inked the lines, and used color pencil and the dot makers for leaves and foliage. The butterflies are not so hot…

I’m pretty pleased on the whole though. I feel like my art has taken a positive turn for the better.

And in Game News: I am working away on the Pokemon D&D 5e game I am going to run! It’s slow going because I’m inputting everything manually. There’s nothing to be done, the Pokemon D&D 5e book is fan made so there’s no way to import it to R20 and I have a free account anyway… but I’m not sure of the limits. So ANYWAY, I should be able to start the game in a month or so. Maybe earlier. I am DYING to start it!!! I can’t get my players to discuss scheduling though! I need to poke them in a few weeks. It’s going to take a while to get the Pokemon stats in anyway….

Oooh! I love how the painting turned out! It looks great. The red eyes really become a focal point. And she really looks 3D.

I love the sketch, too. Great expression on her.
