So last Saturday I ran my first attempt at the TTRPG Golden Sky Stories. It’s a sweet, non-violent game about building connections where you play henge, animals that can turn into people, in Japanese myths/folktales. And it went semi-successfully. I’m still trying to learn the mechanics, but playing it helped a bunch. I also made up a better story on the fly then the one in the book. So i think I’m getting better at running games. It’s been a lot of new experiences and building new skills and I’m glad I can run games. Anyway, the next time I run GSS it should go better.
Also happened on THIS all inclusive luxury D&D vacation D&D in a Castle for all you nerds with money to burn! It looks like a ton of fun actually. Though I’m leary about paying for food I probably can’t eat. Also I hate flying and like to sleep in my own bed and don’t like traveling. I like places once I get there- I just hate the getting there….
OK, this newsletter is late because it took me AGES to scan in this stupid art on my stupid fucking Dell. But I finally did it!
Bird the first- or my first attempt at staying in my lane: Dapper Cockatiel.
Second is Hummingbird. This one was a giant fucking disaster. Well, the paper was a disaster… But here it is.
D&D in a castle sounds fun.
Love how your birds came out!
