I am slooowly working on art I hope to turn into products, but it’s going to be a year or more until I can get more going than just the greeting cards. I STILL have NOT finished the Halloween cards. I am trying out a few things with acrylic gouache- it’s not going well, it’s still too thick. I can’t get the knack. I have paper designed for acrylic painting now though. But get this- Jerry’s forgot to ship one of the pads of acrylic paper I ordered so they had to send it separately. Instead I got a tube of brown oil paint that I CANNOT USE.

One of the big hold ups is I still can’t find my Photoshop 7 disc. I finally decided to check ebay but DAMN! It’s like $200 for a replacement! I’m glad it’s an option, but it’s not gonna happen anytime soon.

Someone alerted me to the fact that I forgot to post my “Flora” painting for sale! So I corrected that! Head to my Ko-fi shop to check out the listing!

For some reason the demotivational fruit cats are om;y working out in color pencil. I them in watercolor and they looked like ass. Then I painted over the watercolor in acrylic gouache and that tuned out only so-so. The watercolor lifted and fucked up the gouache on one. Additionally the gouache went on so thick in areas it’s in danger of cracking. Except it won’t because it’s acrylic! So color pencil is working!! I don’t know how or why but it looks vibrant! It might also be the paper. I started using them with the Fabriano fat pad Mixed Media paper and the colored pencil goes on really well. They make even the cheap color pencils look good!

The strawberry cat was the first one and I inked it, I also inked a couple others. But the top orange cat is the most recent one where I did NOT ink it and it looks good?!?! I am improving?? I still can’t prperly edit my art.

In other news- I am not doing well. I contacted EBR to find new foster placement for Sam and Lyle and Banana and Noodle. If no one will take Mattie maybe they can find a new foster home that can take the other 4 birds so they will be safe from Mattie germs. That will free up a lot of pressure and time I can use to go back to making art.

And THANKS voters: Trump announced blanket tariffs on products from China (10 percent), and also Mexico and Canada (25 percent) in posts on Truth Social. I LIVE on BBQ flavored Popchips which are Canadian! AND the only Indian food frozen dinners I can eat are from Tarder Joe’s and they are ALSO a product of Canada!!! WHY the fuck would Canada be a target of tariffs??? And higher than tariffs on China??? Goddamn fucking bitch.

I leave you with the angry collages I did at the art supply store. I only had an hour so I wasn’t able to finish, but I’d like to one day.

I can’t draw symmetrically to save my life. I need that fucking Photoshop 7 back! I was actually functional in it!!! I bought a book called “How to do Everything in Photoshop 7” and it super helped and I still have it so I can give myself a refresher course! Anyway, everything sucks.
