Let’s take a moment from politics and have a peek at our aspiring tech overlords. What benefit to all mankind are they planning? Ha ha! They are shitty fucking assholes. There are good uses for it and the interviewee points out but no one is going to use it for anything GOOD. It’s just a money/power grab.
This is a great interview about how bad the people trying to convince us to give over our data, our lives, and our tax dollars to fund AI are. I was telling a couple of friends about this but I hadn’t watched it yet and couldn’t remember who did the interview so when I got home I looked it up and watched it.
I finished the 12”x12” piece but I ran out of time to varnish it. The Isolation Coat needs 24 hours to dry before the varnish can go on and I turned this thing in the day before the deadline. The day OF the deadline, I had to deliver my piece for the Chromantic Show in PDX.
It IS for sale. Not that it will sell. It just IS for sale. I think I put $250 on it? It’s big, by my standards, and it was a lot of work. I will varnish it when I get it back. It annoys me because varnish makes the colors pop and I used acrylic gouache in spots and it is mat whereas the regular acrylics have a sheen. So it’s uneven and the varnish will make it uniformly shiny. Also I just like shiny!
My current project is an abstract that I have until June 16th to finish AND deliver to PDX. WTF am I doing?? I already paid my $25 for the spot though… So I better bust ass. I need to figure out what the fuck I’m doing though. I also need to sell some fucking art!
Dollies! I am a little in love with this Coral Reef Eldritch Kitty. There is an even MORE eldritch one that is octopus based but I like the centipede one the best. Don’t worry, I’m not getting it. I still haven’t bought my Mildred Hubble doll, the Asleep Eidelon Ding Dang.
